Date: November 4, 2023
Student Affairs is sponsoring a day trip to Philadelphia on Saturday, November 4, 2023. A chartered bus will take participants to the Liberty Bell/Convention Center area as the drop off and pick-up location for the trip. Students can design their own adventure for the day and decide to visit the historic landmarks, museums, restaurants and shopping of their choosing. Students can walk around the downtown area or take advantage of the convenient public transportation and purchase a $5 ride all-day pass Philly Phlash to get to many of the city’s attractions. The trip is $10 (non-refundable) for your chartered bus travel to Philadelphia from Shenandoah University. Students will be responsible for all additional costs (including food purchases, admission to landmarks and museums where applicable, and shopping) which may vary based on what you choose to see and do in Philadelphia. It is recommended you look at the costs at the museums, landmarks, activities and restaurants you might visit in advance to be prepared for your spending needs. The trip will leave from the Brandt Student Center Parking Lot at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4th and will leave Philadelphia that same day at 8:00 p.m. to return to Shenandoah University. There are limited spots available; to take advantage of this opportunity purchase your tickets by 10/30/23
