Date: September 5, 2026 at 9:00 AM through September 7, 2026 at 6:00 PM

Location: New River Gorge, West Virginia

Spend your labor day weekend at the New River Gorge. The highlight of the weekend will be a full day rafting on the river. We will also explore some hiking trails including a stop at Natural Bridge State Park. Lodging will be a bunkhouse. Rafting, transportation, guides, gear and 6 meals included.

Once you register for your trip, you will receive an email from SOAR within 72 hours. If you do not hear from us, please email suoutdoors@su.edu.

If you need to cancel anytime prior to 8 days before trip departure, you can request to receive a full refund. Cancellations requested from 1-7 days prior to trip departure result in the loss of participation fee, no refund will be given. If a student fails to provide notice of cancellation within 48 hours or is a "no show", a $25 penalty will be applied to the student to participate in any future SOAR trips. Cancellation requests can be submitted to suoutdoors@su.edu.
