Virtual Author Visit: Inviting David Shannon into your classroom is a way to ignite a love of reading in your students. As the visionary behind the iconic, Caldecott Honor-winning medalist, David Shannon possesses a rare, infectious energy that translates perfectly through a screen, allowing students to see the genius behind their favorite No David stories. The No, David! series, offer opportunities to help children to recognize visual elements that foreshadow plot developments. A virtual visit will give your children a firsthand look at the creative process and encourage them to embrace their own imaginative ideas. By registering, you aren't just scheduling a visit to entertain your students you are providing them with a spark of artistic inspiration and showing them that their own unique voices matter.

Happy Hour: After the students have left for the day, join other educators for a live virtual conversation with David Shannon. Learn the story behind the stories. Q & A time and door prizes will add to the joy! Corresponding Happy Hours with the speaker included with the purchase of all Author Visits.

All Author Visits will be recorded. Recordings will be provided to registrants after event.
