Virtual Author Visit: Bruce Hale, author, speaker, actor, and song and dance man, has written over and/or illustrated over 70 books for children, including picture books, novels, and graphic novels. His popular series include the award-winning Clark the Shark Chet Gecko Mysteries The Monstertown Mysteries, among others. During this presentation, your students laugh, sing, dance, and come away inspired to write and illustrate their own book. Having been a reluctant reader himself, he knows how to reach those children who haven’t yet discovered the magic of books. His years of working as an actor and professional speaker have given him the skills to engage and motivate students. Don’t miss this session, which will include storytelling with character voices, plenty of Q&A, a brief slideshow on how Bruce went from being a reluctant reader to an author — and, best of all, a short cartooning lesson. (K-5th Grade)

Happy Hour: After the students have left for the day, join other educators for a live virtual conversation with Bruce H

ale. Learn the story behind the stories. Q & A time and door prizes will add to the joy! Corresponding Happy Hour with the speaker included with the purchase of the Author Visit.

All Author Visits will be recorded. Recordings will be provided to registrants after event.

No Refunds.
