Keynote Talk with Colby Sharp

Colby Sharp is a celebrated fifth-grade teacher in Michigan known for his deep commitment to fostering a lifelong love of reading in his students. In addition to his work in the classroom, Colby is a published author and editor, having co-authored Game Changer! Book Access for All Kids with Donalyn Miller and The Commonsense Guide to Your Classroom Library. His virtual sessions focus on practical, high-impact strategies, including: How to transform the classroom environment into one where reading is celebrated and accessible. Sharing insights into reaching students who struggle to engage with books and sharing strategies for ensuring every student has access to the stories they need. Teachers who attend his sessions often leave with renewed motivation and specific tools to help even their most reluctant students return to the classroom, full of excitement about reading.
