Virtual Author Visit: Virginia's students have spoken! They've read, they've laughed, they've voted. Will this year’s Virginia Readers’ Choice for the primary grades be, Blue Bison Needs A Haircut, written by Scott Rothman and illustrated by Pete Oswald? Don’t miss the chance to introduce your students to Scott Rothman, and learn more about Blue Bison Needs a Haircut, and his other books, including the sequel, Bubble Gum Bison Needs a Bath, Attack of the Underwear Dragon and its sequel, Return of the Underwear Dragon also illustrated by the brilliant Pete Oswald. Happy Hour for teachers and librarians will begin at 4:00, and you will have the opportunity to learn more about Scott Rothman, author of children’s books, screenplays, theater, and humor pieces.
Happy Hour: After the students have left for the day, join other educators for a live virtual conversation with Scott Rothman. Learn the story behind the stories. Q & A time and door prizes will add to the joy! Corresponding Happy Hour with the speaker included with the purchase of the Author Visit.
All Author Visits will be recorded. Recordings will be provided to registrants after event.
