This course addresses the academic, social, behavioral and psychological characteristics of individuals with disabilities (all ages) and history/laws that apply to this population - the largest minority group in the United States. In addition, learners will examine the lived experiences of individuals with disabilities and strategies to effectively and respectfully interact with and support them.
